Blade repair & thinning

If your knife or tool needs some serious work it’s time to let the sparks fly. From time to time I may recommend that you: thin an old blade that has gotten thick, repair a broken or overly blunted tip, or recontour a knife to a more useful and productive shape. These processes do remove quite a bit of metal from your lifetime investment but it can bring a dead or long forgotten knife back to it’s rightful place of pride in your working collection.
