House calls
We are available to sharpen on site in and around the Albany, OR area. $150 minimum during normal business hours of Monday-Thursday 8am-4pm. This includes a $25 service charge per visit to cover travel and setup costs. Neighboring restaurants/salons/households may of course combine orders and bring them to the same site on the same day to reduce the overall cost per order. All of our rates are doubled outside of normal business hours. Some work can only be done in the shop; if there are additional items that needs to be work in the shop, they will be returned to a drop off location when completed. Background
We believe in creating an edge you will love and that will make your knife or tool last for generations. We do this by matching the original angle, and taking off only what metal is needed to make that edge sharp again. Eric uses a sharpening system called the Edge Pro. He has had extensive personal training with the owner/inventor of the Edge Pro Ben Dale.
Being a Christian business owner, Eric is always looking to improve to bring glory to the Lord, that’s why he developed the service based memberships in 2023. He discovered that through these programs he could bring the human connection, quality of service and continued reliability that his returning customers sought after.

I’ll admit, it’s been a beautiful and busy winter. I haven’t been able to convince myself to choose sharp shears until today. I finally broke down and worked over those hair shears I’ve been using for over a year that pull at the very tip. I am so so glad I did. No more tug of war with the nose hairs (which always require the tip to cut perfectly).
So this is my plea to you, don’t wait! Enjoy the luxury of a nice sharp pair of shears. Take the time and have them sharpened. I guarantee you will not regret it!
